Question to the Home Office:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government when they intend to publish guidance about identifying and supporting victims as set out in section 49 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

The National Referral Mechanism pilot is due to conclude March 2017 after which the full evaluation will be completed to help inform any potential reforms. The statutory guidance cannot be finalised until this process is complete and is being developed in consultation with NGOs and frontline agencies.
