Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Wallace of Saltaire on 20 January (HL3929), whom they have appointed to review the operation of Part 6 of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 in relation to the 2015 general election, as has to happen by the end of January under section 39 of the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014.

On 28 January 2015, the Government announced (HLWS206) that Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts will conduct the review of Part 6 of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 as provided for under section 39 of the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014.
