Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Wood of Anfield on 27 July (HL1937), on what grounds the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has declined to disclose when the British Ambassador to Bahrain, Alastair Long, was first informed by the Bahraini authorities that King Hamad intended to confer an award upon him on 21 June; and whether they will disclose the date on which he was first notified.
