Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Wood of Anfield on 27 July (HL1937), on what date the British Ambassador to Bahrain, Alastair Long, informed the Bahraini authorities that he could not accept the award from King Hamad; to whom this was communicated; by what means; what precisely was said; and whether they will publish the full text of any written communication or a record of any verbal exchange.
