Maritime Patrol Aircraft

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask Her Majesty's Government when they expect that the fleet of Boeing Poseidon P8 maritime aircraft will be fully operational.
This question was answered on 6th November 2017
The Royal Air Force is due to take delivery of its first P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft in 2019, with the final one expected in 2021. We anticipate that the aircraft will then begin to operate from RAF Lossiemouth in 2020, with the fleet on track to be fully operational in 2024.
