Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what proportion of Official Development Assistance was spent on research and development in the financial year 2020-21.

The proportion of FCDO Official Development Assistance spent on research and development in the financial year 2020-21 was 5.47 per cent. This information can be found in Annex A Page 259 of the FCDO's 2020-21 Annual Report and Accounts.
