Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make an assessment of the potential merits of the UK Government adopting policies on covid-19 herd immunity similar to those adopted by the Swedish Government.

The Government is guided by the science and is focused on protecting the vulnerable and keeping COVID-19 under control. While we are monitoring the development of the outbreak around the world, the Government has made no specific assessment of the response of the Swedish authorities to the pandemic.
