Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether she has made a recent assessment of the potential impact of the guidance entitled Introduction: Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health education, published in September 2021, on the effectiveness of RSE in schools.

The mentioned guidance is a section of the statutory Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education and Health Education Guidance 2019, which is currently under review. The department will publish an amended draft for consultation at the earliest opportunity this year.
