Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to Answer of 28 October 2020 to Question 106945 on Immigration: Coronavirus, what the parameters are of her review into previously enrolled biometrics; what her timeframe is for that review; whether she plans to enable MPs to submit evidence; and whether she plans to publish the results of her inquiries.

We want to widen our reuse of previously enrolled biometrics and will develop our plans in the New Year. A rollout plan will be developed to look at expanding the scheme further which will include engagement with relevant stakeholders.
