Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what discussions he has had with local authorities on the effect of the UK leaving the EU on (a) the delivery of child social services, (b) the delivery of adult social services and (c) local authority workforce levels.

DCLG engages with local government on a range of policy areas, and this dialogue will continue as the UK prepares to leave the EU. We are working closely with local authorities and a wide range of other interested parties to understand the impacts and challenges of EU exit and plan for a wide range of scenarios.
