Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps she is taking to support coalfield communities.

This government’s defining mission is growth, and we are determined that our coalfield communities are central to it.

At budget we committed to retaining and reforming the Long-Term Plan for Towns, and I am proud that this will continue to support coalfield communities from Jarrow to Wrexham.
