The Department recognises the important role hon. Members play in supporting constituents and is committed to responding to parliamentary casework as quickly as possible. While increased volumes and more complex cases have at times affected response times, we have deployed additional resources, strengthened oversight and improved case management processes. These measures are helping to reduce backlogs, increase capacity and support continued improvements in the timeliness of responses to hon. Members.
