Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, with reference to the press release, £16 million for food charities to provide meals for those in need, published on 8 May 2020, how much has been (a) allocated to and (b) received by provider organisations to date.

£16 million has been allocated to support front-line food charities. To date, £13.3 million has been received by provider organisations.
