Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what progress the Government has made on its consultation report on the effect of VAT on tourism in Northern Ireland.
This question was answered on 11th September 2017
The government has agreed to commission a detailed consultative report on the impact of VAT and APD on tourism in Northern Ireland to recommend how best to build upon the growing success of that sector.
Further details on the report will be announced in due course.
