Home testing enables people to get tested for COVID-19 without leaving their home. They can be ordered via the self-referral portal. The order is fulfilled by Amazon and the user can then drop their test kits into one of more than 35,000 priority post boxes in order to return them. For individuals who are shielding or unable to get to a priority post box the programme offers for the sample to be collected by Royal Mail couriers.
