Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, under what legal framework the Government will offer military assistance to Canada in the Arctic.

The legal framework under which the UK might provide military assistance to Canada in the Arctic would be dependent on the circumstances and the nature of any Canadian request for military assistance, bilaterally or through NATO.
