Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the salary is of the (a) highest and (b) lowest-paid employee of the Bank of England; and if he will make a statement.

The salary of the highest paid employee of the Bank of England is £480,000 per annum, this figure can be found in the Bank of England’s Annual Report and Accounts. The lowest salary in the Bank of England’s salary ranges is £18,000 per annum, this figure can be found in the Bank of England’s Salary Scales publication.
