Deportation: EU Nationals

Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many EU nationals were removed from the UK for failing to exercise their treaty rights in (a) 2014, (b) 2015, (c) 2016, (d) 2017 (e) 2018 and (f) 2019.

The Home Office publishes data on returns quarterly and this can be found in table RT_05-q on gov.uk - https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/migration-statistics
EU nationals will be removed for either not exercising treaty rights or on criminality grounds. Returns of Foreign National Offenders broken down by EU/Non-EU can be found at table RT_06_q. The remainder are individuals who are not exercising treaty rights.
