Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he has had with the Northern Ireland Department of Health on UK-wide access to Orkambi.

Wales and Northern Ireland have stood alongside NHS England throughout these extended discussions. We have therefore inserted into the legal agreement that NHS England has negotiated, a requirement that the company must make equivalent terms available to the National Health Service in Wales and Northern Ireland, should those jurisdictions wish to benefit from them.
