The Department does not hold this information. We have estimates of accident costs in our online appraisal guidance (WebTAG) These estimates include police costs, damage to property and insurance and admin costs. Costs are split between built up roads with a speed limit of 40 mph or less and non-built up roads with speed limits greater than 40mph. Data is not available for A roads specifically.
