The National Tutoring Programme will increase the availability of high-quality tutoring across England, enabling schools to access provision for disadvantaged pupils at a subsidised rate. It will also place high-calibre graduate coaches in the most disadvantaged schools across the country to support pupils to catch up in key subjects. This will be a demand led scheme and we expect schools to have some flexibility in determining eligibility.

As such, it is not currently possible to give a per pupil figure in a way that is meaningful. We will release more about the programme in due course.
