Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the level of stock of home testing kits held by the Government that can be made available to schools for September 2020.
This question was answered on 19th August 2020
By the autumn term, schools will be provided with home testing kits that they can give directly to parents/carers or staff where they think providing one will significantly increase the likelihood of them getting tested. This work is in the early phases and we are currently scoping the number of tests kits that will be made available to schools.
