Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how much her Department and the Standards and Testing Agency have spent on administering standard attainment tests over each of the last five financial years; and under what headings in each year.
The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) is responsible for the administration of a range of tests and assessments. Information about the overall costs of administering these tests and assessments is provided in the Agency’s annual reports, but the STA does not publish or hold a year-by-year breakdown of costs by the different types of tests and assessment that it administers.
Copies of the annual reports published by the STA since its creation in October 2011 are available to view and download at www.gov.uk/government/publications.
