We do not hold information for the same 12 month period for Mandatory Reconsiderations (MRs) and appeals.

In the period November 2015 to October 2016, 263,400 Personal Independent Payment (PIP) MRs were registered. During that same period, 39,700 decisions were revised.

In the period October 2015 – September 2016, 61,517 PIP appeals were heard and decided, of which 39,292 were in the claimant’s favour.
