Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what steps he is taking to ensure elderly people are able to book GP appointments over the phone.

Practices typically offer a variety of ways to book appointments. Most commonly, patients book appointments either by telephone or by visiting the surgery. Some practices also allow patients to book and cancel appointments using an online booking system.
