Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, with reference to the Chancellor's statement of 17 October 2022, whether it remains his policy to lift the moratorium on fracking.

It remains the Government’s policy to lift the moratorium on shale gas exploration.
