Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what recent discussions he has had with his US counterpart on policies to minimise the risk of civilian casualties when conducting operations against Daesh.

I have spoken to the new Secretary of Defense and look forward to further discussions with him later this month on the counter Daesh campaign in which the need to minimise civilian casualties is a key factor for the Iraqi government, and for the Coalition in supporting them.
