Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 20 May 2026 to Question 884, when she expects to (a) launch and (b) publish the results of the public consultation on data-sharing requirements for shared cycle scheme licensing.

We will consult comprehensively on all aspects of licensing for shared cycle schemes, including potential data-sharing requirements in due course. We will then implement licensing through a combination of regulations and guidance, including on data sharing.
