Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether his Department has carried out an impact assessment of the amount of revenue that would be gained by requiring change of use conversions through permitted development rights to be subjected to Section 106 agreements.

We have consulted on introducing a new infrastructure levy to replace section 106 planning obligations and the Community Infrastructure Levy as part of the ‘Planning for the Future’ consultation. The Government’s consultation response will be published.
