Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many (a) men and (b) women have been diagnosed with the rare brain condition cataplexy, by age group.

Cataplexy is sudden temporary muscle weakness or loss of muscular control and is a condition most commonly associated with narcolepsy. Information on diagnosis is not held in the format requested.
