Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what steps his Department is taking to monitor the outcomes of his objectives to ascertain whether they have been successful.

The Department Shared Delivery Plan sets out the strategic plan for the health and care system for this Parliament, 2016/17 to 2020/21. The published document is available via:

This Plan sets out the deliverables and metrics by which objectives of the health and care system are monitored and assessed. The Departmental Board and Executive Committee supports the Secretary of State in reviewing progress against the Plan on an ongoing basis.
