Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether she plans to consult on regulations to be made under section 95A of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 as inserted by Schedule 11 of the Immigration Act 2016.

We plan to consult local government, non-governmental organisations and other partners on the regulations to be made under section 95A, concerning support for failed asylum seekers who face a genuine obstacle to their departure from the UK at the point their appeal rights are exhausted.
