Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what plans his Department has to introduce further provisions to ensure that people using the NHS from outside (a) the UK and (b) the EU pay for their treatment.

Earlier this year the Department consulted on extending charging into other National Health Service services for people coming to the United Kingdom from overseas. The response will be published in due course.
