The National Health Service is not required to register miscarriages. Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) provide information on the number of miscarriages. The table shows the number of miscarriages from 2010-11 to 2014-15 where there was a hospital admission. Not all miscarriages will require an admission to hospital.
