Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the prevalence of covid-19 infections being brought into schools as a result of pupils not isolating when other family members have tested positive for covid-19.

No specific assessment has been made. The Joint Biosecurity Centre is working with regional partnership teams to closely monitor the impact of COVID-19 infections as a result of schools returning.
