Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether the Government plans to bring forward legislative proposals further to protect the rights of victims of human trafficking and modern slavery as a result of the UK leaving the EU.
The UK continues to work with EU partners to tackle modern slavery and already has well-established rights and protections for victims of modern slavery and human trafficking, including through the National Referral Mechanism and the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
