Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to ensure parity between care homes and the NHS in the practice of testing for covid-19.

Social care settings and the National Health Service are priority areas for testing under the Government’s Testing Programme. We are seeking to understand the specific contexts of each setting through studies such as Vivaldi2 in care homes and SIREN within the NHS to ensure the measures made available to each are appropriate and effective, in line with the scientific and clinical advice.
