Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the annual cost to the public purse is of substitute service single accommodation.

The total cost to the public purse for Substitute Single Service Accommodation for Financial Year 2024-25 is £75,240,044.
This figure includes rent, monthly service fees and utilities costs. However, utilities data for March 2025 is not yet available.
