Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, for what reason the latest round of the UK-China human rights dialogue has not yet taken place; and when he last raised the holding of that dialogue with his Chinese counterparts.

We are currently discussing dates for the next round of the Dialogue with the Chinese. I last discussed the importance of the Dialogue with the Chinese Ambassador on 27 June.
