Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what proportion of prisoners who were released early from 1 October and 15 October have not been tagged.

The Ministry of Justice routinely publishes Official Statistics on electronic monitoring and on prisoner releases, as part of the Electronic Monitoring Statistics Quarterly and Offender Management Statistics Quarterly publications. The requested information forms a subset of the data underpinning total release statistics and electronic monitoring statistics intended for future publication and, therefore, cannot be disclosed.
