Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will consider ringfencing funding within the Energy Wealth Fund specifically for deep geothermal projects.

Established within the National Wealth Fund (NWF), the Energy Wealth Fund (EWF) will invest in renewable and low carbon energy infrastructure across the UK, helping unlock growth and supporting projects that will drive the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
