To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what information her Department holds on the number of exclusive corporate events held at the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition at the British Museum.

Ministers have had no recent discussions with the British Museum regarding corporate events at the museum.

Ministers have had no discussions with the British Museum on the proportion of permitted light hours at the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition being used for private corporate events and the department does not hold any information on the number of corporate events held at the exhibition.

The British Museum is operationally independent of government.
