Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 14 October 2026 to Question 31269 on Electric Vehicles, whether she has made representations to the Chancellor of the Exchequer ahead of the Budget on increasing the £7.5 billion allocated to supporting the transition to zero emission vehicles; and whether her Department plans to introduce additional financial incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles.
