Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if he will extend assessment rate payments to claimants of employment and support allowance who are waiting for the outcome of a mandatory reconsideration.

We have no plans to change the current policy of not paying benefit during the Mandatory Reconsideration process.
