Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how her Department’s review of substances of human origin legislation will address blood supply resilience and preparedness for emergencies.

The Department is currently analysing the submissions that it received as part of the call for evidence conducted earlier this year and will set out next steps in due course, including on the areas raised by the Hon. Member.
