Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether her Department has assessed the potential merits of establishing a UK Substance of Human Origin Coordination Office to support cooperation between regulators, devolved health administrations, national blood and transplant services, and industry.

The Department is currently analysing the submissions that it received as part of the call for evidence conducted earlier this year and will set out next steps in due course, including on the areas raised by the Hon. Member.
