Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many dogs alleged to be prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 were in kennels awaiting (a) assessment and (b) court determination at the last date for which information is available; and what the average daily cost to the public purse is per dog.

Kennelling arrangements and associated costs are matters for individual police forces who may collect this data.
