Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether she plans to publish the amount of financial savings resulting from Avanti West Coast’s planned December 2026 and January 2027 service reductions.

The Department for Transport Operator (DFTO), on behalf of the Department, works closely with Operators to monitor the impact of timetable changes, including operational performance and financial impacts. However, individual Operator financials are commercially sensitive and therefore not published.
