Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether her Department plans to review section 13 of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade Act 1865, which requires fire insurers in London to contribute towards the cost of fire and rescue services, and if she will consider extending a modernised version of that funding mechanism to fire and rescue services across the rest of the United Kingdom.
