Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many inspections into the age of public service vehicle tyres have been carried out by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency in the last 12 months.

In the 12 months, up to 31^st August 2019, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency has undertaken 84,286 annual and roadside inspections of public service vehicles, including the age of their tyres.
